Poway Community Swim Center Closes at 1:30 p.m. November 6 for Staff Training

POWAY — November 2, 2026. Poway’s official community calendar warns that the Community Swim Center will close early on Friday, November 6, 2026 for staff training.

What changes on Friday

The city’s November 6 listing shows the swimming facility closing at 1:30 p.m. The announcement is not a cancellation of all pool operations on other November dates or a change to the regular weekend schedule.

Check the class or lap-swim window

Families with lessons and adults planning lap swimming should ask whether their specific session is affected. A facility closure can apply before a regular swim block ends, and organized classes may have their own adjustment or makeup rules.

An important distinction

Poway City Hall is also listed closed November 6 under its municipal office calendar. That does not automatically mean every city park, library or recreation program closes. Consult the individual facility listing.
